Abstract

This study focuses on investigating and analyzing the current state of practice and Chinese oral communication skills among students. Based on the findings, methods are proposed to enhance communicative effectiveness. The central research problem identifies that students' time investment and practice methodologies for oral skills remain limited and have yet to reach optimal efficiency. The objective of the study is to evaluate oral practice habits, levels of communication confidence, and the ability to apply intonation, while simultaneously identifying factors influencing the development of students' speaking skills. The research employs survey methods and data analysis involving students from the Faculty of Chinese Language and Culture at Dong A University, Da Nang. The results indicate that intensifying authentic communication activities, establishing structured oral practice plans, and promoting student autonomy are key solutions to improving natural and effective communication performance.
