Abstract

Anoectochilus formasanus Hayata is a species belonging to the Orchidaceae family. Anoectochilus formasanus Hayata is a precious medicine that has many uses in traditional medicine. In this study, we investigated to determine scientific names, morphological characteristics and anatomical features for taxonomical identification of the samples cultivated and supplied by the Institute of Tropical Biology, Ho Chi Minh city. These findings contribute to standardize this species and provide the basis for further studies on the chemical composition and bioactivities of the plant
