Abstract
Objective: To assess the knowledge of breast self-examination (BSE) among female nursing students studying at Dong A University in 2025 and some related factors. Subjects and Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted among 292 full-time female nursing students at Dong A University. Results: A total of 125 students (42.8%) demonstrated adequate knowledge of BSE, while 167 students (57.2%) had inadequate knowledge. There was a statistically significant relationship between BSE knowledge and year of study as well as personal medical history. Conclusion: The female nursing students participating in the study had limited knowledge of breast self-examination.
