Phát triển du lịch Farmstay tại thị xã Duyên Hải, tỉnh Trà Vinh: Tiềm năng và giải pháp

Abstract

Orientating the development of ecotourism in association with the development of agriculture and rural area is one of five major product lines in the development strategy of tourism in Vietnam, especially in the Mekong Delta. Trà Vinh Province has already had spotlight on developing ecotourism presented in effectively exploiting the local culture and history values together with ecological farming of rural area for developing ecotourism. This article aims to analyze potentials, strengths as well as proposing appropriate solutions to develop farmstay tourism model in association with ecological farming in rural area of Duyen Hai Town, Tra Vinh Province. Our research methodology includes summarizing secondary data from previous studies, using questionnaire to collect data, then analyzing and assessing these data by ustilizing Likert scale to find the average. Our results indicated that, along with the available potentials and solutions of people and natural resources, organizing effectively farmstay tourism model will help to improve the life quality for local people as well as make this model become the representative igmage of Duyen Hai Town in special and Tra Vinh Province in general.
