Abstract

The current consumption market of agricultural products has always encountered many obstacles. The short supply chain aims to minimize intermediary stages in bringing final products directly to consumers, create conditions to improve socio - economic efficiency not only for the producers but also for the consumers, and support both Dak Lak domestic market and export market. The main reason is derived from the traditional, spontaneous and fragmented farming methods of each farmer household, and the limitation in the production consumption relationship. This article, on the basis of the surveys and field assessments, focuses on analyzing the relationships between factors in the production - consumption chain. Initially, the short supply chain model applied to three products including avocado, durian, and mango in Dak Lak province is proposed.
