Abstract

This study aims to investigate the common difficulties and errors in the use of Korean adnominal phrases, and propose a method to enhance the ability to use these phrases in the Korean Speaking and Writing 4 course for second - year Korean language majors at Dong A University. The findings indicate that most students face difficulties primarily due to a lack of understanding of the meanings of adnominal phrase structures, difficulty in memorizing them due to the complexity of the grammar, limited opportunities for real-life communication, and the ineffectiveness of the current learning methods. Based on these findings, the study proposes a method for systematizing the theory of adnominal phrases to improve students' ability to use them, thereby enhancing their speaking and writing skills in this course.
